Over the years there has been a variety of filming carried out at Newburgh Priory from larger film releases to television dramas as well as advertising and photographic shoots. Some of the more recent productions have been Possessions starring Gwyneth Paltrow and NBCs Robinson Crusoe that was recently filming in York Minster and the surrounding areas.

Although slightly further afield than some locations Newburgh benefits from an wide and diverse range of potential locations from a stately home to Georgian workers cottages, from the dis-used Stable Block to traditional farms and miles of tracks, forests and lakes.
