Newburgh Priory has a range of properties set within the villages and rolling landscape of the Hambleton Hills. We frequently have residential, agricultural and commercial property to let.
Originally built to house the Estate staff and workers there is a wide range of residential property at Newburgh Priory from six bedroom dower houses to two bedroom farm cottages. Located in both picturesque village and tranquil rural settings there is something to suit anybody's taste and with access to good local schools, pubs and services it is easy to see why this part of North Yorkshire has become so popular.
The roots of the Estate were always in farming and the same is still true today. There are several mixed arable and livestock farms still on the Estate including one remaining dairy farm. The Land is predominantly Grade 3 and 4 with soil type ranging from gritty sandy soil through to heavier loams and clay. Depending on circumstances there are a variety of properties available from bare land through to traditional farms with large houses and farm buildings.
The Estate owns a range of commercial properties from agricultural engineers through to the local pub and a livery yard. With several redundant buildings including traditional farm buildings and the old Watermill the Estate is always keen to discuss new development and business ideas with anyone who might be looking to establish or re-locate their business.
Should you wish to be sent any particulars for the properties that are currently available please contact the Estate Office on 01347 868372. Alternatively use the enquiries page to submit your requirements or to be put on the waiting list for Newburgh properties as they become available.
