One of the charms of Newburgh Priory as a venue (we think!) is that we are flexible.
If you choose to host your wedding at the Priory but prefer to do the legal element elsewhere, we are more than happy for you to host a blessing ceremony here. A blessing ceremony by a Celebrant - encompasses & reflects your personalities, your beliefs, your ways of thinking and you as characters.
We recently chatted to The Yorkshire Celebrant about what she offers and the different elements she can bring to your day.
Owner and celebrant master Eve, works very closely with each couple, beginning with an introductory meet at your chosen venue to establish that she is the right Celebrant and fit for you.
Eve then spends some time taking lots information about you, your likes & dislikes to create a bespoke ceremony based around you, which can be themed if you choose. There are many elements that can be included in the ceremony such as tree planting, a unity candle, coffee blending, time capsule, jumping of the broom, handfasting, love letters and more! If you would like your family pug to be your ring bearer, then Eve can factor this in too! You have freedom to choose music, readings, poems, however you want to style out the ceremony - it’s all about creating something special for you, to ensure you have magical memories of your day.
The Yorkshire Celebrant is an independent Celebrant based in Guisborough to create and deliver bespoke ceremonies with love. Eve can provide ceremonies for Weddings, Vow Renewals, Handfasting, Naming Ceremonies, Cleansing, Pet Celebrations of Life and Family Bonding.
