From intimate to epic, rustic to formal, Baba Ganoush create bespoke menus for weddings and events of all sizes across the North of England.
We caught up with Ashley, Matthew and the team to find out what they have been up to in the last 12 months...
It's been tough - how have you kept going through the Pandemic?
Over lockdown, as well as continuing to liaise with all our fantastic couples old and new, we ventured into home-delivery boxes in the form of our 'Baba at Home' boxes. These have been hugely popular particularly at Christmas and on Valentine's Day, we wanted to create some delicious Baba offerings for everyone to enjoy in the comfort of their own home, or for people to send them to a loved one, to let them know they were being thought of!
Each box comes freshly prepared and ready for you to just heat and eat! Each box will include all of the food items you have chosen and full instructions on how to heat and serve all meals. We have also been doing an Instagram Live Demo prior to each box being collected / delivered to show everyone just how easy it is to do at home!
Our Boxes were so popular we decided to add them permanently to our menu! They are now available for key dates throughout the year including: Mother's Day, Easter, Father's Day, Christmas & New Year and Valentine's Day.
Have you seen changes in what couples are looking for in their Wedding Day?
We have really busy taking on new enquiries which is brilliant!
We have seen an increase in demand for smaller, more intimate weddings which is really intresting and exciting to see and has meant that we have refined some of our menus (such as our fine dining menu) to provide catering more suited for these events. We are just so thrilled to get back to weddings!!
In regards to weddings over the past year, as you can expect, we have had to postpone most of these. The whole team has played their part and been fantastic in supporting our couples, providing a 'plan B' (and sometimes plan C, and plan D!) dates to give peace of mind. When postponing, we do not charge any extra fees and keep costs as per the original quote which is different to lots of other caterers and wedding businesses out there!
It's definitely nice to now have the roadmap and what feels like a 'light at the end of the tunnel.'
We can't wait to be back at Newburgh Priory this year!
