Weddings trends come & go: new colour schemes, the latest entertainment for your guests and of course the outfits! Here's are just a few of the latest trends a' la Brides Magazine to get you going for 2019...
Colour trends are fast paced for weddings with this this year's colour of choice being tipped as Coral, following Pantone's announcement of the newest 2019 colour on their chart; a bright, sunny, pinky-orange named 'Living Coral'. A joyful colour oozing summer vibes it's a perfect tone to include in weddings for flowers, bridesmaid dresses, subtle make-up, table decs and overall colour schemes.
Simple and Classic
Following on from the stunning wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex last year, simple designs and classic styles are on the rise. Less is more, tailoring to find the right silloutte for your shape provides the perfect elegant, minimal look.
Bringing the outdoors in - a trend that seems to be sticking around. With more of us trying to embrace the natural elements of our world it seems plants, foliage and trees feature a lot more inside venues than ever before.
Another trend that seems to have taken off from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's big day, sustainability and eco-conscious thoughts are now running through everyone's minds. From biodegradable confetti, locally sourced ingredients for catering & cakes to ethically made clothes.
At one time the cake wheel of cheese was the most popular for couples, for 2019 it seems bespoke cakes filled with textures, piping and personal touches are big business - show stopping creations to impress your guests.
Traditional canapes & three course dinners by silver service are on the decline. Entertaining a real sense of community, Afternoon tea, sharing platters & grazing plates served on long communal tables are on the rise, usually featuring an abundance of cheese, meats and fruits.
So it looks as though minimal, personal and sustainable are the three key characteristics we need to be looking towards - get those running through every element of the big day and you've nailed the 2019 trends!
